I hope that my subject gets a few laughs cause I’m still laughing at how clever it was. I would say that is the best way to explain how everything is going right now. Cause it’s starting to feel like a long time since I’ve been home, yet measured by how fast and busy the work continues to go great I can’t say that I’m trunky in a bad way just thinking of the good things at home after reading your letters!
Today I had a great 2 hour golf tee time. John came out winning over Steven by 4 strokes the rain started to play a factor in the course but it was a great day to play some golf. Also today I cooked some really good hamburgers I was pretty impressed the only thing that I missed was a little OSU football to watch in the club house! I just have to come up with the name of my course. Empty cereal boxes are the pins and empty boxes were the sand traps and the mud puddles were the water hazards. Sound like a cool course or what?
So for the work, still haven’t baptized Tiger Woods yet but we are teaching lots of families right now, There are challenges because they all have different needs and doubts and so to keep the lessons on track and focused and still answer needs and questions of all of them is kind of hard but are getting there it just takes patience. We do now have a family that speaks perfect English and it’s really weird to teach in English. I sound like an idiot ‘teaching in English’ but it’s fun to talk and teach in English. They went to church on Sunday so now this week I’m going to have to get them English scriptures for them to study. I think they will be more excited to read them in English so hopefully this is helpful. Also on Thursday we are going to the temple which should be great I’m excited for that. I only have one more temple trip left.
Well somehow Maria heard that the Elders bake great brownies and the members said they we will invite you to a family home evening if you bring brownies. So that’s in 30 minutes and I am brownie-less … solution... still don’t have one. I hope that I have enough faith to pull them out of a basket like the miracle of the loaves and fishes cause it’s gonna take a miracle like that to come up with brownies in a half an hour!!
