Ironic

So if you guys remember last week I said that we have all these good people we are teaching right now. Well this past week we didn't even hardly visit them cause when we passed by no one was home. So then Sunday morning a bunch of them ( 5) are in church and we didn't even get to teach them this week or invite them to church. I was like huh? that is rather ironic last week we teach them 3x per week and they don't go, this week zero and they go to church. I don't think I have found that strategy on missionary work in Preach my Gospel yet... ha ha but hey what ever works!

Well guys so that you all know I am feeling all better now during the past week I had a bad stomach again but I have been drinking a lot of power ade and coke and a lot of mineral water everyday and been eating a lot of foods like bread rice noodles, more simple things and its been helping. I feel good. :) and doing good so I thank you guys for all your prayers and especially fasts and prayers for Cathryn. I was very worried and I know that because of our prayers and her desire to have faith everything is good again.

On Sunday I was asked to talk. So I prepared my talk, then the Branch President asked the Stake Young Womens and Young Mens leaders to talk and left me no time so I ended up not talking which was fine I was ok with that. But it was kinda funny as I prayed wondering what I should talk about it came to me very clearly the phrase in 1 Nephi 22:22 "...and the rightouss need not fear" as I studied that topic and thought about what it meant I think that I was assigned to talk not necessarily to talk but rather so that the Lord could grab my attention and teach me something. That those who are obedient, righteous followers of Christ need not fear though many things in life may happen we need not fear we know why we are here in this world and we have all the means necasary to maintain our Heavenly goal. That we need not fear.. I am greatful for the spirit it truly is a great blessing in my and our lives I have so many stories that I could share about how the spirit has taught me and warned me in so many ways I am just now starting to understand what it means to have it as our constant companion what a great blessing. I know that it truly is a constant companion and though we may not realize it he quietly, smoothly guides and inspires our lives.

I really loved what Cathryn said, we have new laws and God's commandments that MAKE US FREE. I am free from addictions, I was free from teen-pregnancy, I am free from guilt because I repent, and I am free from any worldly pleasure that only brings sorrow and shame. Christs gospel IS good news and IT brings lasting joy into our souls as we choose to point toward Christ. I know that the Lord is so kind and loving and so very wishful for our safety here and for this reason we have the commandments.

1. Gramps, this one is for you. I did some yard cleaning at our place, cutting down limbs and and that jazz. Then I piled it up and burnt it. It was a big bon fire at 6:30 in the morning but by the time I got my camera it was small. Anyways this was my slash pile burning ha ha. It was a real clean burn didn't have hardly any scraps left over

2. This is me and the sky net guy (the company that delivers our mail every Friday) basically my best friend cause he brings me letters from Cathryn every week! :)

3. The coke I left in the freezer for a day and a half. I opened it and it was a slurpy it was slushy and so good!
4. This was my Sunday meal bbq chicken and a ranch salad - yeah Chef Morgan's in town.
