Anyway as for my mission I have never really been able to teach families it has always been single people which is fine but I have only really taught one family in my mission which was Rcio and Jorge in Caacupe with the paper work problems. I'm sure that you guys remember. But I was really trying to focus on teaching families and what not and the Lord has blessed us with a couple families that we are teaching! It is so nice cause it just has a new style and feeling teaching families. One of them, the husband is a member and she isn't and she is upset with him because he doesn't live the church teachings so we are teaching a lot about the atonement and what they want in the future for there family.
The second family, she is supposedly an athiest. I think that was just so she didn't have to talk to us, but they are now sitting down together and listening to us. They don't take us very serious at all, which is kinda frustrating we ask them to pray and they just laugh, while the other one says the prayer. It's kinda wierd, but they are into it when we teach.
The third family is I think too good to be true, it makes me a little nervous cause they came up to us and were like, 'hey I am a member but my wife isn't. I want to return to church. Please come teach us. So of course we did. This Sunday they were traveling so they didn't come to church but we will see how this week go. If they are serious and want to come and back and if his wife really does want to learn more about the gospel. I guess I should have more faith that they will come. Well that is who we are teaching.
Raquel, Leo and Sergio are all doing great. It's funny they always love the scriptures that we share with them, especially the ones that Cathryn has sent me. For example. I shared DC 6:36 and a story that Cathryn shared with me in one of her letters. They retained it perfectly and were like wow that is great. So now it's Raquels and Leos favorite scripture! (Thanks Cathryn!)
Well that is how my week went, oh yeah about the zeros part we had all these families lined up to go to church and then no one went so there is where the zero enters in- but over all it was a great week and a little bit on how the area is going. Oh also this week we have transfers so we will see how that goes. I could easily stay or easily go we will see- anyway Iove you guys and thank you for all your support and love.
Love Elder Morgan
