I'm doing great

Ok guys –

Well there were many concerns today about my health and how I am doing and so that everyone knows I am doing great. I feel good. My stomach is doing fine its good and strong, and I apologize to anyone that is reading and doesn’t know me but this next point is the greatest of all, I now have full control. This may seem kind of weird but this is one of the great blessings.

This past week went super fast. I’ll tell you guys something cool that I found out tonight, Leo who was baptized a while ago told us that the day we contacted her was the day she was planning on taking her life. Which is super crazy cause she doesn’t seem like the type of person, but apparently she was super bummed out and depressed about an illness that she has. She was going to have to use a machine to stay alive and was always taking pills, but now she doesn’t have to take near as many pills and is a lot better and doesn’t have to go on the machine. She no longer wants to take her life because she now has a purpose. It was cool to talk to her, but sad to hear. As she told us tonight, that when we shared the great message of the gospel with her that it gave her a new hope and light which was previously missing from her life. A mission truly is a great opportunity to change lives and this was such a neat experience we just had!

We’re running late but I wanted to get some pictures to you guys. I think you’ll like them, I have got some new styles of missionary attire I’m going to have to update the missionary handbook with these new exceptions. Let me know what you thinkJ.

1. The new working hard hat.

2. San Lorenzo was like the Columbia River bar on Friday when we went to pull out our money. I think we could have wake boarded in the street it was raining so hard!

3. The package that grandma sent. By the way notice my new work pants I decided that board shorts fit my style and the culture better, what do ya think?

4. Thank you to the Shippen family for the package it was sweet a balloon animal kit. I tried to use the balloons tonight at our family home evening, but they are hard to make so I’m going to practice first, then try again next week.

5. Sergio and I tonight having a lemon and lime sucking contest. I made him look like a girl :)

6. My lemon after I got done kissing it. It was a lot more sour than Cathryn’s --ha ha

Well I got to get going guys but I wanted to give you a rough run down on my week and at least send you some pictures I love you guys. Thank you for all your love and support. I cannot believe that Cathryn hits her year mark this week and has only has 6 months left it is truly is passing like one big dream - its kinda nuts.

Well you guys have a great week and I’ll write more next week - promise!

Love you guys,

Elder Morgan
