Just kidding that was our "POW" Bday cake!

Family,

It sounds like you all had a ton of fun at the beach!! Did you get to play nerts or anything? I thought that was pretty funny how most of you ended up in the hall with your kids at church. Well I hope all of you had a fun Father's Day.

This week it's been pretty hot...95-100 with the humidity. Luckily there has been a nice breeze. We had the car but we are pretty short on miles so we rode our bikes a lot.

Sister Power has been here since March so she decided she wanted to go somewhere she hadn't been yet. So we decided to head to "Clearwater, Ks" We hooked up the bike rack on the car and headed out...I just stared at the thing the entire way so nervous our bikes were going to fall off and then when I stopped looking for a few min, Sister Power goes, "The bikes are falling!" So we pull over and took them off and started to re-adjust the thing. Seriously I have been humbled being here....wearing my pink helmet and riding my bike in a skirt...we stick out like sore thumbs and I don't even care. So a guy pulls over in his BMW to help us...I just swallowed my pride and let him help. So we got it back on more secure this time and he leaves and then Sister Power goes, "You have toothpaste on your face" We laughed so hard....ok but now get this...we get to Clearwater and go to the city hall to get a map and find out CLEARWATER is out of our area!!! We wasted so many miles with the car...oops. Leave it up to me to do something like that. We had to put off Judy's baptism off until July..she's going out of town so that won't be until July 10th.

We are still teaching Dave and his little girl Sam. This week I truly felt like an "Instrument in the Lord's hands" We taught Dave the other day and he mentioned to us he didn't have any food and Sam says, "Yeah Dad only has $1.00 left" We felt terrible and wondered what we could do. The next day we went and helped a lady the ward clean because she is moving out and she goes, "I have a freezer full of food that I don't need, do you want it??" We were SO excited to pack it up and be the instrument for the Lord taking the food to Dave. We reap what we sow, seriously.
