I'm sorry but I don't have time to respond to any emails today or attach pictures. It's already 5:30 and P-Day is over at 6:00 and I still have to go home and do some stuff.
Tomorrow night we find out who my new companion will be. I think Sister Collado is excited to go home or it just hasn't hit her yet. We're having a goodbye breakfast for her and 2 other sisters who are going home. I just try not to think about who my new companion will be because that doesn't do anything but worry me. It will be hard to say goodbye to Sister Collado but I know that this next transfer I am going to grow and learn so much especially since I'll probably be taking over the Raytown area.
I had a really good tour last week. An elderly couple who haven't been married all that long. They came to the VC to have a spiritual experience and so that's what they got. I love those who come in and want to learn and feel the spirit. It's great.
Well it seems we have dropped just about all our investigators this last week. Marta and Carlos were able to come to the VC though last Monday night and they really enjoyed it. They are coming tomorrow as well. Marta really wants to make us a cake! She is so cute and is doing well so hopefully she'll commit to baptism tomorrow, we'll see.
Did Kaitlin get her call? Mom thank you for my sunglasses! It's been rainy here for about a week hahaha but I'll need them soon. Did you like how Sis. Hallows called to make sure you sent that driving info in? Thanks for doing that as well. I'll have to call the mission office and see if they got it, I'm sure they did.
I'll share one quick experience. We knocked on a door and these girls said, "You should try out neighbors downstairs, they need Christ in their lives, he's always yelling at his girlfriend and they have a new baby" So we've knocked on their door a couple times and they haven't been home and then the other day we knocked and I was somewhat nervous this man would slam the door and yell at us or something but no! They were so nice and told us we could come back! They asked about their baby being baptized and when we told them we believe little children and babies are the closest to God and innocent they smiled so big..they loved that we believe that. So anyways you never know what we'll happen until you take the chance.
Love you all so much.
Sister Powell
