One Big Siesta

I think that this week there was a huge memo sent around to all of Paraguay or at least the people in our area to sleep all week long! It was ridiculous from one a clock to five a clock there was just silence and two missionaries walking around clapping at the doors. It was seriously crazy to the point where it was funny. we had a super hard time finding new investigators. this week, but its OK I guess. We were preparing Mari and Christian for baptism on Saturday but then they didn't go to church and so we went on Sunday after church to visit them. They told us they felt pressured and rushed so they decided to wait until the 18th or the 25th.
I do have an interesting baptism story that happened this week. I went to do a baptismal interview for the Elders in my district and in the interview the young man I was interviewing asked me to baptize him. I was like OK well we can talk about that a little later thinking that he might forget. Well he brought it up like 3 other times and so I was like OK sounds good so on Sunday I baptised Christian he is 19 and is super excited about the church and to be a missionary so even though I didn't teach him its still cool to say that I at least was the one to baptise him. It was cool. and just an FYI this time I remembered my extra under wear ha ha. i walked out of the stall in my long johns and he asked me is that the under wear that everyone uses in the USA and i just laughed and said that only the true mountain men use them haha. I thought it was pretty funny. well I'm sorry but I am in a hurry tonight even though it was a slow week as far as the work but I'm happy I love this area and all the people here even if they do sleep way too much - no joke!

Love you guys
