Good Ol' Country Boys

Family,
Another quick and great week went by faster than I can blink my eyes. We went way out in the country to visit a man and when we pulled up Sister Larson goes, "You've got to be kidding me!" I was like, "What?" I then look up to a shirtless man riding his lawnmower with short shorts... and a fishermans hat...oh boy here we go. We get out of the car and walk up and it's then I notice he not only has little shorts on but a hole in the side so you can tell he isn't wearing any underwear! He's great though really, he came to church this last Sunday and it's really fun to teach him because he doesn't stop talking and I try soo hard not to laugh.
We also taught another new woman who is 24. She's really awesome, she met an Elder at the gas station in Kansas City and agreed to have missionaries come... I may have told you last week about her...she was the one who I knocked on her door with S. Stevens and we KNEW someone lived there we needed to teach but they said they were baptist and their uncle was a preacher. It ends up there really was someone there who wanted to learn!
I mostly have pictures for you this week..they of course include the Browns. We make any excuse we can to go over to their house.
The work continues to move forward. I want to leave Odessa on "fire" for the next missionary who comes in! My mission has been a way bigger blessing than I thought possible. I love what hope comes through Christ's teachings to put it simply. "Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with asurety bhope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which chope cometh of dfaith, maketh an eanchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in fgood works, being led to gglorify God."

That is who I want to be....a sure, hopeful, faithful, steadfast person, who always is doing good and praising the Lord.
