WOW Big Week!

Wow guys it was quite the week!! Dad and Mom huge congratulations I am super proud of you guys. Cathryn I am proud of you too and everyone else thank you for your letters today I feel very strengthened and motivated by you guys and all your letters helped me today from Kayla’s to Marnae’s. All you guys help me and I know you help Cathryn so much. You have been such great examples in everything you do and I owe you guys a huge thank you just for your examples in every way.

So this past week I had some cool spiritual experiences I was able to do 4 baptismal interviews which I thought just concerned asking the set questions and that was that, but as I went into the interviews I realized that these were our Heavenly Fathers children and not just questions to be asked and as I saw them like this the spirit truly guided the interview and it was very interesting to see and feel the spirit in the those interviews they were each uniquely different and each one taught me something new. That is one thing that I love about this gospel you never do know it all. The spirit keeps teaching us we never have a perfect understanding but we continually receive understand by having the spirit as our constant companion. That’s what I learned this week the true importance of not just worrying about what to say but what it truly means to have the spirit as our constant companion. Also Edu who got baptized 3 weeks ago is doing great! He blessed the sacrament for the first time this Sunday and I asked the Bishop if I could bless it with him like I did with Sergio in Posta Leiva but this Bishop told me that it wasn’t my office so I didn’t get to but as I sat there and watched him kneel down and bless the Sacrament I truly received a better understanding of what the scripture in D&C means when its says how great will be your joy with just the one soul that you bring into the Kingdom of God, now imagine how great your joy will be if you bring many! I can testify that the joy truly is great to see people change and follow our Saviour! It’s truly a great joy a feeling that I can’t explain but is something that I wish you guys could all feel. R

Returning back to Edu, he then got up and bore his testimony and talked about how the gospel has changed his life and purpose of life it was seriously great it made me cry. I was very proud of him. Oh he also left this week and visited a family that we are teaching the one where they all speak English if there isn’t a member of the ward there with us, it’s sweet! But in that lesson Edu taught about how and why it’s important that we get baptized by the right authority. It was great. We invited Romina, Fermin and Esperanza to be baptized on the 24th of April and they said yes! Way cool! They are friends of Edus from school so we think that he will do the baptism of Romina and Fermin and then the mom Espèranza still not sure but still way cool. Edu went to the temple for the first time this week also and got his mission papers form the Bishop! Seriously this guy is great!! Even if he was my last baptism on my mission I would be happy.

So about tomorrow I have a conference and interview with Elder Foster who is in the Quorum of the 70. Not because I did anything bad but I’m curious to see how this is going to go. I am pretty excited because he came in September and we really hit it off, talking about fishing and hunting so I’m assuming a lot of this is about setting up a fishing trip ha ha. Anyways we have transfers and I am staying here in Bella Vista and getting a new companion his name is a funny one Elder Gaylord he will have a good time explaining that one to our English speaking investigators, but hey is a b ball player so I think we are going to get up at like 6:15am and go play for like 45 minutes every other morning. Right now Elder Babcock who I live get up with me and we go and play b ball and tennis everyday from 6:30 to 7ish. It’s fun, then our “special” golf when I can it’s a good way to keep up on my sports.. Sounds like a sports mission, haha. Anyways thanks again for your support and love. You guys are the best. I love you. We seriously have the best family.

Love
