Lauren and Jessica

Family,
I cannot say thank you enough for those of you who sent emails this week. Everything that was said was needed. Thank you. This past week I was privileged to watch two amazing girls be baptized! Lauren and Jessica were very prepared to be baptized. I've probably mentioned this in the past but my favorite part of teaching is asking the baptismal interview questions!! I hear how much those I am teaching have spiritually progressed when they answer those questions. It's awesome.
The baptisms went smoothly and the Relief Society room was packed. There seriously was not an open seat in that room! While the girls changed after getting baptized we had those who attended, write their testimonies/thoughts to the girls on note cards. Sister Larson and I decorated photo albums with their names and heart stickers, and put the note cards in them, along with baptism pictures. We gave them to them after they were confirmed on Sunday and I wrote down their confirmation prayers as well and put it in the books. They were BEAMING after they received the gift of the Holy Ghost and were confirmed members of the church! Then I saw Jessica walking down the hallway reading the album later on. :) This is only something sister missionaries would do, seriously.
So it was a wonderful weekend and we are excited for Aly and Josiah's baptisms in May!! Josiah read the entire Book of Mormon in 10 days and it now re-reading it and writing his testimony/thoughts on every single chapter...yeah...he is one amazing, and motivated individual!

p.s. Happy Birthday Sister Stevens!!!
