Home Sweet Home

Hey everyone, it's John. I know...it's been a long time since I've posted, right? To start off this post I would like to thank each one of you for the letters, packages, and emails while I served in Paraguay.
On November 21st I started traveling home. It was a long flight, but great. The morning of the 22nd I had a layover in Atlanta so I called Cathryn. I asked her if she was in Idaho or at home and she said home..not true. :)
I got to Salt Lake City at 10:35 and I thought it took off at 10:45 so as soon as I got out of the terminal I was b-lining it to the next gate. Then some stranger came and grabbed my shoulder. I turned around thinking, "What the heck, why is some stranger grabbing my shoulder" and then I realized it wasn't a stranger but Cathryn. My long lost princess I had left in the tower two years ago...apparently she got passed the dragon, escaped, and ended up in the Salt Lake City airport.
The flight home was so fun (besides the woman making out with her dog behind us) but anyways we had so much to talk about there wasn't a moment of silence between us.
When we arrived in Redmond, OR it was a woo-pin 35 degrees. Cathryn was sweatin' and I was shivering. ha-ha.
It was great to see the family of course, share mission stories, and being released was a moment in my life I'll always remember.
Well...Cathryn may have surprised me in Salt Lake City but now it was mine turn to surprise her.

Stay tuned for the story of THANKSGIVING :)

Thank you again for everyone's support the last two years...not only the support you gave me, but Cathryn as well.
We appreciate you all.
