200 Years

Well this week went by really fast as they always seem to. We were planning to have 2 baptisms one for Gume and one for Mauro and they both ended up getting postponed until next Saturday. Mauros had to be moved because his grandma (maria) had a city hall meeting at 6 on Saturday and so she couldn't be there and she asked us on Tuesday if we could move it to next week. We said of course. We concentrated on Gume and visited her everyday with members and everything to make sure all was well for her baptism on Saturday. Well it worked great she was very very excited about getting baptized all the way up until Saturday morning.when I got a call at 11am from Hma Ada that sadly Gumes brother had died Friday morning and that Gume had to go to Asuncion to pick him up and fill out paper work with the police and all this stuff. So of course she ended up not being able to get baptised either... Waa waa waa... however this Saturday we are going to have 2 great baptisms Gume and Mauro and both are all set and ready to go so how great is that!! Then if all goes well we have 3 more in the next couple weeks. but I will keep you guys posted on that.

Last night 2 of my converts from Posta Leiva called me and they were both doing great. Sergio is consistently going to church and every Sunday is blessing the Sacrament and when I asked him about a mission he told me, "I have to go." "My family doesn't leave me any other option.". So he is Perfect doing great. Then I talked to Raquel and she is doing great also. She is planning on going to the temple for the first time this week on Wednesday. So I am very excited for them and so as the mission keeps unfolding it is so great it is really a true joy to hear about our converts and that they are staying active in the church and that they are progressing in the gospel and are preparing to make more additional covenants with our Heavenly Father. That truly has been one of my favorite parts of my mission, is to see the progress of people as they are truly converted to the Gospel. It's a joy that is hard to explain but I love it!

Well everybody have a great week

I love you guys

Love Elder Morgan
