Pictures and a Letter From Cathryn

HEY FAMILY!
Ok so I just sent two emails with pics attached and one with a recording...hopefully it all works. Sorry I'm only able to attach two pics at a time. Thank you soooo much for the emails everyone. I will have to print them all out and read them later since I only have an hour on here.
Let's see here...remember that apartment complex that I left all the sticky notes at? Yeah well that is where Breawn lives. We set up an appointment with her a few days ago and taught her in the hallway. Her Mom was upset she opened the door because she was smoking pot..ha so uh we didn't want to teach in their house anyways. Breawn is a very sweet girl. She is 19 and currently working. She loves Heavenly Father so much and recognizes His hand in her life. I have a lot of faith in her. She said to us, "I wanted you to come"  and when we asked her to read a chap. in the Book of Mormon she said, "I'll read the whole thing!" ha so more on that when I teach her again :)
We still go to Raylenes..we have an appointment tomorrow...lesson three. She has SO much on her plate that we haven't gotten her to come to the VC yet but we'll get her there soon ;)
I have taken a few more tours around the VC and my first one by myself wasn't too bad but then the next few I've taken have been really good!! I took a 8 children..4 where one Mom's and 4 were another Mom and Dad's if that makes sense...did I already tell you all this?? Anyways the children loved it. I hope that I'm at the VC this summer when it's crazy and I never sit down!!
The members here are so awesome!! I went to the Southards (counslor to the Bishop) and he said, "Please tell your family thank you for letting you come serve a mission, we appreciate them" ...as you can see the members of the church are soo nice.
I passed off lesson one last week..wow did I tell you all this too already? To be able to drive we have to pass off all five lessons so this friday I'm passing off lesson two. We have to memorize 8 scriptures for each and all the key points. The point is to make you a better teacher of course.
Ok I really can't think of much else to say...things are going well and it sounds like everyone of you are good too :)

Take Care
Love,
Sister Powell
This is what the ice storm did to the trees..so pretty though.

That is the Fullers a elderly couple who served in the VC with me...SUCH kind people! Their mission ended last week and they are now back home in Utah.
