I wrapped everything about five days early and he just had to stare at it for days! ha-ha. Eventually I let him open two on his "birthday eve. I also kept up his moms tradition and put pictures of him on the table for a couple of days.
Lastly, I went all out on decorations and invited our friends over for cake and ice cream. It was fun and I think John really enjoyed his day!
