| Taken on my phone really quick because the smile doesn't last long enough! |
Two mornings in a row Colby and I were in bed and I said, "I love you Colby", and he then looked up and smiled at me! It was such a priceless moment, and even though he smiled up at me most likely because he had a full tummy, it stills makes me feel so great as a mother when I know he's full and all clean from a diaper change and/or bath.

John gave Colby a beautiful blessing, and it was nice to hear my families testimonies. Afterwards we went to our apt. complex lounge and had lunch. Colby decided to add some lovely color to his blessing outfit and on Jaime! Sorry Jaime!! I hope your shirts fine!
Little things about Colby:
He is getting stronger every day as he gets really good at holding his head up.
His eyes are turning brown. (I think!)
He has his daddy's chin, nose, long torso/short legs, and toes.
He has his mommy's face shape, lips, and forehead.
He toots really loud...wow
He taught me that poo can projectile..yikes
He likes his swing (thank you Aunt Jaime!)
He is filling out, and probably around 9 lbs..not sure how much he weighs now
He has become so much more aware over the past month as he looks all around rooms
He stares straight into your eyes all the time
He makes hilarious baby faces...he doesn't go cross eyed as often anymore, but purses his lips a lot still, sucks on his bottom lip, smiles at me and then glares at me...
I am SO impressed with my sister and sister in-laws for being the amazing mothers they are as they raise children! What a ton of work and a ton of fun.
Being a mother to Colby and wife to John are my two greatest blessings. It's really fun to be a mom, and I am discovering that there will always be a lot to learn. Babies and children sure do help us work on developing attributes of Christ..especially when they cry, don't they? ;)

Oh yes! And as they get older we learn to develop even more qualities. But, remember it's okay to loose it every once in a while. Or heck, every day. It happens. And it still makes you the best mom ever. At least, that's what I like to tell myself. Last week I had two really hard back to back days. I hated the way I was acting, I felt horrible. But after a good cry and a good long prayer, the kids and I were so much better the next day, and week really. It happens, and it's okay when it does. Wish we could have been there for the blessings. The curse of being so far away. But glad so many loved ones were able to be there. Can't wait to meet the little guy. He really does look like a Morgan doesn't he?
