Hola Deciembre

Hey Guys before I get distracted talking about random stuff that made up my week I want to say thank you. Thank you for every email that has been sent to us in the last year. Thank you for staying up late Sunday night falling asleep on the key board going to work tired Monday morning so that you could write us. Thank you for trying to take pictures to send to us. Thank you for telling us about the little things that go on in your lives. The things that seem little and insignificant to us really are the kind of things that we love to hear about. Thank you for the sacrifices you make for us whether it be putting together packages letters, dear elders, what ever it is. Thank you for all your hard work in helping us away on the Lords errand feel happy and loved. It truly makes Monday, the entire week and life so much happier. We love you guys. We read your stories of life and everything that’s going on and there is always something funny, cool, sad, and spiritual that helps us in even the littlest way. So today I just wanted to say thank you for all you do for us.

So everyone said that the Christmas devotional was super good and I am very upset about that. I don’t know if I have told you guys but I have told Cathryn in our letter, but the zone leaders have been a little less than pleasant this change and so when we asked if we could go to the Stake Center to watch the devotional and then after Elder Wilkinson was going to have a baptism they said that we didn’t have permission to go. So the John in me is saying, “they’ll never know I’ll hop on a bus watch it and come back easy as that,” while Elder Morgan is saying, “No, just stay home its just a devotional it’s not worth getting in trouble over,” decided to stay home. But then today I hear from all of you that it was so good. I am starting to wish I had listened to John in me - ha ha! I’m jealous of you guys it’s been hot and rainy and you have a ton of snow and are sledding, tree cutting, getting the truck muddy, all that fun redneck stuff!

So on another note we have transfers this week and we have Raquels baptism lined up for Sunday so hopefully number 1, she follows through with it this time and number 2, I am not transferred. I know I am supposed to be a planter. I have baptized 5 in a mission where some people have 150 or more. But hopefully things will go well and Raquel won’t have anymore cold feet or toes because of her family. She is great, she already has many friend in the branch and she is teaching her 5 yr old daughter how to pray and read The Book of Mormon. We just show up and say ok where are you in the Book of Mormon and then she explains what she has learned and how she can àpply it. She is definitely ready to be baptized, It’s just that when she was a baby her parents left her with a neighbor lady or something like that and so the only family she knows of don’t like the church. So that has been hard for her. I think it will probably end up being in January after Christmas and New Years. Either way she is great and is already converted and will be a great contributor in the church.

Well I love you guys a ton. I hope you have a great week and I will look forward to talking to you all next Monday.

Love Elder Morgan
