Happy As We Go: I'm so old and hairy it's scary

Hey guys –

Thanks for all your emails and everything you’re all so nice to write me. I’d have to say Nathan was the winner of the funniest letter for the week congratulations Nathan – and thanks! I’m glad that you all are so happy and doing well.

My week went by super fast as usual. Here’s a couple stories and then I’ll tell you about my B DAY. On Tuesday we had a mini zone conference with the President. We were analyzing a practice that the assistants did and I had a very powerful bold comment to make… right… so I stood up and completely forgot that when we talk to President we speak in Usted. Well I started taking in Tu for everyone who doesn’t know Spanish that probably doesn’t mean much, but for those who do its kinda funny I hope. FYI Usted is formal respectful Tu is for close friends and less respectful. Anyway, funny story number 2 - every week we write President emails, but for the last 2 weeks I have signed on written other letters first and procrastinated writing President and at the end of emailing I have forgotten to write him. It is not a deadly crime not to report but in the mission it’s kinda a big deal. Well Thursday we had our interviews and I thought uh-oh he was going to be pretty upset with me that I had forgotten to write him etc. So I get in the interview with him and he pulls out his phone (where he recieves his emails) and starts looking for something YEAH I WAS LIKE OK I’M IN TROUBLE - HERE IT COMES - HERE IT COMES then he sets his phone down and looks and says, “I am sorry, how are you….” Etc. etc. I was so relieved woooo that was close! Today I made sure to write him a nice letter first.

Ok so for my B day.. It was a great day really a pretty day, the sun was out and it was a little breezy in the 70s just perfect. In the morning we went for a run and then I finished the Book of Mormon for the first time ever and that was a pretty neat experience. It’s a truly amazing book I LOVE IT! Then I had a nice Chocobolic shake J and a cake my companion made. Then we went out to work and had great lessons all day long. That night there was a nice birthday party for me at a members house with Pizza and Cake and pop and everything. Then as we were eating cake we had some music going next door. Terminator laying on the TV ha ha (members are a little different here that way). Hma Madariaa called me and so that was kind o funny timing. I’ll show you guys the photos. Over all a great B-day.

Now to reassure you guys just in case you’re wondering - I am an Obedient Missionary... J I am sure you are all thinking now that I don’t write the President and when I do talk to him I speak in tu and that I listen to bad music and watch terminator but it’s not how it seems I am a good obedient missionary just so you don’t all worry.
