I have received a lot of letters from John. He is doing really well! His Spanish teachers are gone...I think just for the holidays but he said they went to Mexico... so I'm not exactly sure what the situation is there. He does personal study all day, which he actually enjoys.
He says the food is fine but "Don't eat the eggs and hashbrowns, they look good but they will tare you up inside! Also don't eat the rice. Some guys and I took a ball of it back to my room and threw it against the wall and it didn't even break!"
We'll see in a few days I guess if he is outside on the 6th helping me with my luggage! ;)
My "Farewell" was on Sunday the 27th. My parents and I spoke in church and it was really awesome to have a couple of our co-workers there supporting me! It was also fun to have just about every sibling of mine and their families visit!
I was "set apart" as a missionary Friday morning.
