A big part of my life is waiting. A lot of girls would never wait for a guy to finish High School but I did! It feels like I accomplished something along with John. The day he asked me to be his girlfriend, is the same day it dawned on him that he should probably tell me he was 16 years old and just finished his Sophomore year of High School! What a smooth guy...get me to like him first and then tell me his age. It feels like just the other week I was thinking, "Oh man he's only half way through High School" and now he's done and it flew by!! Although I have another two years to wait(he leaves on a mission for our church in Oct. '09) and it's going to be even tougher for us since we can't talk on the phone, I know that he's worth the wait. We all need to always remember to enjoy the journey and be content with the present time. I'm excited for John to move on with his life and the things ahead of us. Way to go John, I love you!

ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting! Congrats John! And, you have the right attitude about the whole waiting thing. You guys are crazy about each other, and someday you will look back on this time and know it was all worth it.
